Saraiki Wasaib

Saraiki language name was adopted in the 1960s by political leaders and regional social. This all was done by “Saraiki Academy” that was founded in Multan on 6 April 1962,Mir Hassaan-ul-Haidri was its first president who was replaced by Makhdoom Sajjad Hussain Qureshi, which gave the name of universal application to the language.
Saraiki language is the fourth most widely spoken and very famous language in Pakistan, after Punjabi, Pashto, and Sindhi; and within Punjab Province it is one of the two major languages. In Punjab, It is mostly spoken in southern and western districts of Punjab province. Saraiki is home to the districts of Punjab, but it is not limited to Multan only, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Layyah, Muzaffar Garh, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Vehari, Lodhran, Mailsi, Khanewal,Jhang, Sahiwal, Bahwalpur, Bahawalnagar, Rahimyar Khan, Sadiqabad. Dera ismail Khan,Thal and Cholistan deserts also are homes of Saraiki language. These areas are called as Saraiki Wasaib for their Saraiki literature.
Saraiki people are also very simple and sweet people.Saraiki is widely spoken in Naseerabad Division of Balochistan Saraiki has 42 letters where Urdu has 37 letters. So Urdu, Pakistan Punjabi and Kashmiri may also be easily written by saraiki key board. Many universities have their own Saraiki departments. Like B.Z.U Multan, Islamia University Bahawalpur, Gomal University D.I.Khan.
There are at least Five TV chennel of Saraiki. Some daily newspapers in Saraiki are published. Nowadays Saraiki intellectuals and politicians are doing public rounds on how to get the idea of a Saraiki province realized. They demand the proposed Saraiki province be carved out of all Saraiki districts of Punjab and the NWFP through a presidential ordinance.
Saraiki people lives very simple. The Saraiki language  sometimes spelled Siraiki and Saraiki is closely related to Punjabi. It is spoken by approximately 18 million Pakistanis only, mostly in part of Punjab Province and in adjacent parts of Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwas.
No mention of Saraiki is ever been made before the creation of Pakistan. All of the poets, Singer, writter and Saints of Punjab always used Saraiki including Khaja Gulam Fried, Khaja shah Salman Taunsvi who is respected among Saraiki speakers And many more personalities are respected.
